John Munro was born on the 26th November 1888 in Ross-shire Scotland.

He served 3 years with 3rd Seaforth Highlanders before emmigrating to Canada.

He enlisted at Valcartier on the 23rd September 1914.

He was in France from February 9th 1915 to April 28th 1915.

He was wounded on April 22nd 1915 and died on May 16th 1915.
